Jeremy Swerner heads the Commercial Property Department. We act on all aspects of commercial property from the purchase and sale or re-mortgaging of shopping centres to purchase and sale of small businesses comprising commercial property.
We also act for clients on the acquisition of property for development and advise on planning aspects.
Commercial Landlord and Tenant work has been a mainstay of the firm since its inception. Jeremy Swerner (Conveyancing) and Paul Grant (Litigation) work as a team on many aspects of Landlord and Tenant work and are well supported by Jasmeen Deep-Bharj and Misha Chudasama (Conveyancing) and David Sichel (Litigation) to provide an experienced and robust service for our clients.
We act for a number of clients with large portfolios of commercial property and we have an expertise in the grant and management of leases including lease renewals and property litigation where it is important to have a joined-up approach to Conveyancing and Litigation to give clients the best possible service.
We do of course act for tenants in taking all forms of commercial leases from shops and offices to industrial units.
It is important for clients, whether as landlord or tenant, to know their rights and obligations not only during the term of the lease granted but also at the end when dilapidation issues come in to play.
Again, we are able to provide an experienced team from both conveyancing and litigation to give good advice whether to landlord or tenant.
